Scores of Spores
Spore may change the way people understand videogames. The basic concept is that you start out in the primordial soup and evolve until you are exploring the vastness of the enitre universe. Oh yeah, and you get to play everything in between. To explain Spore is beyond the scope of this entry, but if you check out the Google Video you might get a better sense of how utterly amazing this game can be.

Holy shoot, I'm so psyched about this game! The concept is just so enormous in scope... it blows my mind. I can't imagine any other game where you start playing as a single celled organism and your "character" evolves out into the whole damn universe. Simply amazing. Will Wright is a genius.
I first caught wind of this game cos there were rumours of versions being released for the handhelds... which blew my mind even more to think that you could play a game like this on your PSP.

Thanks for the link to the video, it looks like a great premise for a game... The 3D character designer alone would be a good way to kill a few hours.
